This year one of my resolutions was to be more reflective about my life, especially in my spiritual walk with God. i realise that even though the bible said to 'Give thanks in all circumstances', i always forget to do so! Especially when the situation is far from ideal. The past two weeks have been really quite stressful. But i could see God's blessings and the many ways He has helped me through the weeks:) His grace is indeed sufficient for me!
i thank God for..
1. Freeman who postponed our audio assignment deadline TWICE! hahaa what a relief! Now its due after recess week :) Oh anyone knows if the mmlab is open during recess???
2. Helping me find a TRUE local human interest story for our pawnshop campaign in COM231. Found it in the 10th page of google search omgoshh!
3. COM206 photomontage. That i could complete it in one and a half days! but its a lesson learnt cuz i never want to go through such an ordeal again! heh. For helping me figure out photoshop and also for very nice people like jings and christina who helped me too!hahaa. Now at least im no longer such a noob.
4. For daniel(lim) who was in school on friday to borrow the micro-track recorder for me so i didnt have to come allll the way back when i wasnt feeling well.i needed it by sunday you see.i owe you dude!
5. That im still functional in school despite sleeping at 4-5am the night before
6. For daniel(tan) whos really an awesome guitar teacher, who tolerates alot of my nonsense heh. Hes dam good for his age, and he inspires me to become a much better player! hahaa and he keeps me awake at school
7. For the sermon last sunday which was very very apt. And the time set apart for the next 40 days to draw near to Him
8. For the ntu cell. Prayer on monday was really good, and training for NVM after ( even though im so sad that my 2.4km timing has dropped by 2min 19 sec from my PB!:( ) its an escapism of sorts from the rigors of academia, and i really enjoy the fellowship too:)
9.That despite the madness at school this week, i could meet sam and tony today before sam leaves for aussie tomm! Though we came to the saddening realization
that this could be the last time in a long time 3 of us can meet up in Sg again cuz tony leaves for manchester in september!:( So unpatriotic la two of them
God is really good!:)
